The Head of the National Assembly’s Parliamentary Friendship Group with Canada Zoran Bojanic and PFG members Milanka Jevtovic Vukojicic, Dr Ivan Bauer and Aleksandra Cabraja, met today with the members of the Canadian Parliament Harold Albrecht and Cathay Wagantall, as well as the members of the organization “Christian Embassy”.

Marija Obradovic Elected Vice-President of Parliamentary Assembly of Council of Europe
MP Marija Obradovic, Head of the National Assembly’s standing delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), was elected PACE Vice-President at this morning’s plenary session. She will be holding the post in 2017 and 2018.

PFG with UK Meets with UK Parliamentary Delegation
At the beginning of the meeting, the Head of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with the UK MA Dejan Radenkovic took the opportunity to say that the diplomatic relations between Serbia and the UK date back to 1837, making this year their 180th anniversary. The jubilee will be marked by a panel discussion and a number of events on 17 October.
