Parliamentary friendship groups
When an MP wishes to create a parliamentary friendship group, he/she submits an application to the Speaker of the National Assembly. The Foreign Affairs Committee makes a decision on the establishment, and selects a Head and members of parliamentary friendship groups; approves decisions on the exchange of visits with parliamentary friendship groups of representative bodies of other countries, and keeps a record of membership.
Latest activities:
- Nataša Vučković, National Assembly MP, as a member of the state delegation headed by the President of the Republic of Serbia – visited Paris on April 6-8, 2011 in the capacity of the Head of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with France of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia.
- Delegation of the Montenegrian Parliament’s Friendship Group with Serbia headed by Rifat Rastoder, Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of Montenegro and the Head of the Group visited the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and had separate talks with members of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with Montenegro and Prof. Dr Slavica Đukić-Dejanović, Speaker of the National Assembly.
