National Assembly Delegation to Take Part in PACE Committee on Political Affairs and Democracy - Statement

One of the key news of the 134th annual meeting of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe, held on 14 May 2025 in Luxembourg, where the delegation of the Republic of Serbia was headed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr Marko Djuric, was that the request for the admission of so-called "Kosovo" into the Council of Europe was once again not on the agenda, which is an important diplomatic signal and a clear confirmation that the necessary consensus among the member states for this initiative has not been reached.

The Working Group for the Improvement of the Electoral Process submitted two proposals for amendments to the Law on the Unified Electoral Roll to the National Assembly Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues on 16 January 2025.
