National Assembly Deputy Speaker

The National Assembly Deputy Speaker assists the National Assembly Speaker in the performance of the duties within his/her purview and substitutes him/her in case of temporary inability to work, or absence, as stipulated by the Rules of Procedure. The National Assembly determines the number of Deputy Speakers by a special decree. Articles 20 through 23 of the Law on the National Assembly regulate the election and termination of office of National Assembly Deputy Speaker.

At the First (constituting) sitting of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia 14th legislature, on 20 March 2024, the following were elected National Assembly Deputy Speakers: Sandra Bozic, Edin Djerlek, Dr Jovan Janjic, Elvira Kovacs, Snezana Paunovic and Marina Ragus.

The mandate of National Assembly Deputy Speaker Sandra Bozic ended on 7 May 2024.

At the First Sitting of the First Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2025, on 19 March 2025, Nevena Djuric was elected National Assembly Deputy Speaker.

The mandate of National Assembly Deputy Speaker Snezana Paunovic ended on 15 April 2025.

At the Fifth Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia 14th Legislature, on 16 June 2025, Dunja Simonovic Bratic was elected National Assembly Deputy Speaker.
