National Assembly Deputy Speaker

The National Assembly Deputy Speaker assists the National Assembly Speaker in performing the duties within his/her purview and substitutes him/her in case of temporary inability to work, or absence, as stipulated by the Rules of Procedure. The National Assembly determines the number of Deputy Speakers by a special decree. Articles 20 through 23 of the Law on the National Assembly regulate the election and termination of office of National Assembly Deputy Speaker.

At the First (constituting) sitting of the National Assembly, on 6 Jun 2016, Konstantin Arsenovic, Veroljub Arsic, Prof. Dr Vladimir Marinković, Djordje Milicevic, Vjerica Radeta and Gordana Comic were elected National Assembly Deputy Speakers.
