In 2001, the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia held 15 sessions lasting a total of 95 days:One constitutive session lasting one day; Six sessions of the regular sitting, lasting a total of 63 days, and Eight sessions of the extraordinary sitting, lasting a total of 31 days.

Wages of Persons Nominated and Appointed to and Employed by the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia
The Administrative Committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, at a session held on 27 February, according to Article 71 of the Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Article 3 of the Act on Wages in State Bodies and Public Services and Articles 2 to 5 of the Decree on Base Rates for the Calculation and Payment of Wages of Persons Nominated and Appointed To and Employed By State Bodies, passed the Decision on Establishing the Base Rate for the Calculation and Payment of Wages for Nominated and Appointed Persons and Persons Employed in the Services of the President of the Republic and the National Assembly with the Highest Professional Qualifications, as well as for persons with lower, intermediate and higher professional qualifications, to be applied for the calculation and payment of wages beginning with the calculation and payment of wages for January 2002.This announcement is followed by wage calculation tables for persons appointed to and employed by the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia.
