At the sitting held on 17 December, the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending discussed and accepted the Bill Granting Guarantee by the Republic of Serbia in favour of German Development Bank KfW, Frankfurt-am-Main, to settle the debt of Electric Power Industry of Serbia Public Enterprise, Belgrade (Project: "Improvement of the exploitation technology at Kolubara Mining Basin aimed at boosting the efficiency of thermal power plants and decreasing the environmental impact”), submitted by the Government.

Public Hearing Held to Mark International Human Rights Day
The National Assembly’s Committee on Human and Minority Rights and Gender Equality held its second public hearing, with the topic “Execution of Judgments of the European Court of Human Rights in the case of Serbia”, on 10 December 2012, to mark the International Human Rights Day. The public hearing was attended by the MPs, representatives of numerous state, international and non-governmental organisations, as well as national minority councils.
