Serbia Supports Efforts to Find New Sustainable Development Strategies
Addressing the general debate on sustainable development, Vladimir Marinkovic, member of the Serbian delegation participating in the 128th Inter-Parliamentary Union Assembly in Ecuador, urged the MPs from all over the world to define a new sustainable development strategy and the Inter-Parliamentary Union, to take concrete steps conducive to the full implementation of said strategy.

Bundestag Will Not Stand in Serbia’s Way toward Euro-Integration
The German Parliamentary delegation to the Inter-Parliamentary Union stressed that Germany would not stand in Serbia’s way to integration into the European Union if the European Commission’s report of 14 April is positive and, based on it, the country’s Foreign Ministry takes the appropriate position. This was said at the two delegations’ bilateral meeting in Ecuador, at the margins of the 128th Inter-Parliamentary Union Assembly, held on Sunday, 24 March 2013.

Serbian Police Among Most Efficient in World in Fight against Drug Trafficking
The Head of the parliamentary delegation at the Inter-Parliamentary Union Assembly in Ecuador, Marija Obradovic, speaking as panelist at the roundtable, commended the work of the Serbian police and urged the representatives of parliaments from all over the world for more intensive international cooperation in the fight against drug trafficking and organised crime, especially in the sphere of legislation.
