PACE Standing Committee Holds Meeting in Edinburgh
The Standing Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe met in Edinburgh, United Kingdom, on 26 November 2011. At the meeting, the Committee adopted the report on “Psychological Violence” drafted by deputy member of the National Assembly’s Standing Delegation to the PACE Elvira Kovacs as the Rapporteur of the Committee on Equal Opportunities for Women and Men.

Kosovo Assembly’s Attempt to Take Part in PABSEC Plenary Session in Tirana, Thwarted
The National Assembly’s standing delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC) managed to thwart yesterday’s attempt of Jakup Krasniqi, Speaker of the Assembly of the so-called Republic of Kosovo, to attend and take part in the 38th PABSEC Plenary Session in Tirana, Albania.

National Assembly Deputy Speaker Gordana Comic opened an exhibition of children’s artwork at the National Assembly House today, to mark Universal Children's Day. The exhibition comprises the artwork painted at the National Assembly House as part of the "Chalk Drawing from Imagination” event held on 8 October to commemorate Children’s Week.

Annual Session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Parliamentary Dimension of the Central European Initiative
As part of Serbia’s chairmanship of the CEI, the National Assembly is hosting the annual session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Parliamentary Dimension of the Central European Initiative on 10 and 11 November 2011. The topic of this year’s session is "CEI Development Perspectives”. On the first day, the session was preceded by meetings of the CEI PD Committees on Political and Home Affairs, on Economic Affairs and on Cultural Affairs.
