Fifth Sitting of the Committee on Human and Minority Rights and Gender Equality
At today’s sitting, the members of the Committee on Human and Minority Rights and Gender Equality unanimously decided to organise a public hearing with the topic “Combating Domestic Violence” to mark the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. The public hearing will take place on Tuesday, 27 November 2012.

21st Sitting of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues
At the sitting held on 31 October, the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues considered the amendments submitted to the Amnesty Bill. By a majority of votes, the Committee deemed all the submitted amendments compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

National Assembly Speaker Lays Wreath at Radomir Putnik’s Tomb
The National Assembly Speaker, MA Nebojsa Stefanovic, laid a wreath at the tomb of the Serbian commander and Army Chief of the General Staff of the Kingdom of Serbia in World War One, Radomir Putnik, at the New Cemetery in Belgrade, to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Balkan Wars.
