Eighth Sitting of the Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Committee
At a short sitting held on 30 January, the Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Committee submitted two amendments to the Bill on Stimulation of Agriculture and Rural Development, for the purpose of legal technical harmonisation.

Public Hearing Held on Freedom of Media
Today, the National Assembly House hosted a public hearing on “Freedom of the media – it is not the time to keep silent!” organised by the Culture and Information Committee. In addition to the MPs, the hearing was attended by representatives of the OSCE, journalism associations and journalists.

Diaspora and Serbs in the Region Committee Delegation in Skopje
The Chairman of the National Assembly’s Committee on the Diaspora and Serbs in the Region, Aleksandar Cotric, and Committee member Milorad Stosic visited Skopje on 27 and 28 January, where they attended the St. Sava Academy at the edifice of the Macedonian Opera and Ballet and spoke with representatives of the Serbian community in Macedonia.

Head of Parliamentary Friendship Group with Japan Speaks to Japanese Ambassador
The Head of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with Japan, Aleksandra Djurovic, and Japanese Ambassador to Serbia Toshio Tsunozaki met today at the National Assembly House to speak about the two countries’ future cooperation and boosting relations between the two parliaments in particular, especially via parliamentary friendship groups.
