National Assembly Service Management Meets with Representatives of International Partner Organisations
The management of the National Assembly Service met today with the representatives of international partner organisations – OSCE Mission to Serbia, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), National Democratic Institute (NDI), Westminster Foundation for Democracy (WFD), USAID – Judicial Reform and Government Accountability Project and USAID –Business Enabling Project, in order to set down the 2013 cooperation plan.
National Assembly Deputy Secretary General Mladen Mladenovic stressed that, in the previous period, the National Assembly had successfully cooperated with international organisations which had helped improve the quality of the National Assembly’s work. This year, the National Assembly will continue to realise projects with said international organisations, aimed at strengthening the capacities of the National Assembly’s working bodies, strengthening the National Assembly’s control function, improving cooperation between civic organisations and the National Assembly, boosting transparency and regional cooperation, as well as strengthening the capacities of the National Assembly Support Service.
Mladenovic stated that the entire staff of the National Assembly Service would be briefed on the National Assembly’s cooperation plan with partner organisations, adding that it would be greatly beneficial if as many Service employees as possible took part in the realisation of the planned projects.
The 2013 cooperation plan was formulated in collaboration with the cabinet of the National Assembly Speaker and management of the National Assembly Service.
