    The First Session of the First Regular Sitting of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2002 commenced on 27 March 2002.At the start of the session, the Chairperson of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Nataša Micic informed those present that the session would be attended by representatives of CeSID, the Permanent Conference of Cities and Municipalities of Yugoslavia, the Students' Union of Serbia, the Students' Association of Belgrade, and the students of Constitutional Law at the Faculty of Law in Belgrade.

    Nataša Micic, Chairperson of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, convened the First Extraordinary Sitting of the National Assembly in 2002 for 22 January, at the request of a group of 93 Deputies from the Democratic Opposition of Serbia Deputies' Group.

    The Chairperson of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Nataša Micic convened the Third Session of the Second Regular Sitting of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2001 for 20 December 2001. Before setting the agenda, the Deputies accepted a motion proposed by the Government of the Republic of Serbia that Bills Amending and Modifying the Act on Turnover Tax and the Excise Act, as well as the Bill on the Budget of the Republic of Serbia for the Year 2002, should be considered under urgent procedure.

    The President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Dragan Marsicanin convened the Second Sitting of the Second Regular Session of the National Assembly for October 22, 2001. At the beginning of the sitting, the National Assembly noted that Aleksandar Pravdic had tendered his resignation of the office of Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, while Obren Joksimovic tendered his resignation of the office of Minister of Health and Environmental Protection in the Government of the Republic of Serbia.
