Seventh Sitting of the Youth and Sports Committee

The Youth and Sports Committee held its seventh sitting on 1 April 2009. The sitting was chaired by the Committee Chairman, Milan Vuckovic, and attended by Snezana Samardzic-Markovic, Minister of Youth and Sport and associates, and Dr Nenad Dikic, director of the Anti-Doping Agency of the Republic of Serbia.

Forty-First Sitting of the Administrative Committee

At the forty-first sitting, held on 1 April, the Administrative Committee adopted the decisions on fining the deputies who violated the order at the Fourth Sitting of the First Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2009.The National Assembly Secretary notified the Committee that, in the continuation of the Fourth Sitting of the First Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2009, held on 1 April, measures for keeping order at a National Assembly sitting were pronounced against Serbian Radical Party deputies.

Thirty-Ninth Sitting of the Administrative Committee

At the thirty-ninth sitting, held on 31 March, the Administrative Committee unanimously adopted the decisions on fining the deputies who violated the order at the Fourth Sitting of the First Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2009. After the National Assembly Speaker Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic had pronounced 15 measures of expulsion from the sitting to Serbian Radical Party deputies, the Administrative Committee adopted the decisions on fining the deputies expelled from the National Assembly sitting by 32 thousand dinars in total.

Fortieth Sitting of the Legislative Committee

At the sitting held on 27 March, the Legislative Committee considered 26 of the bills submitted by the Government and included into the agenda for the Fourth Sitting of the First Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2009. In addition to the Bill on the Appearance and Use of the Coat of Arms, Flag and National Anthem of the Republic of Serbia, the Committee also discussed four ecological bills: on Air Protection, on Nature Conservation, on Protection against Noise in Living Environment and on the Protection and Sustainable Use of the Fish Fund.
