    Hundred and Third Sitting of the Legislative Committee

    At the sitting held on 30 November, the Legislative Committee considered the 32 Bills included in the agenda for the Sixth Sitting of the Second Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2010. The Committee members unanimously ruled that all the Bills adhere to the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia, of which the Committee would inform the National Assembly.

    Hundred and First Sitting of the Legislative Committee

    At the sitting held on 23 November, the Legislative Committee considered, in principle, the 12 Bills submitted by the Government and included in the agenda for the Fifth Sitting of the Second Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2010. The Committee completed a joint discussion in principle and unified discussion on the Bill amending and modifying the 2010 Republic of Serbia Budget Law, with its accompanying proposals of decisions granting consent to the amendments and modifications to the financial plans for 2010 of: 1) the Republic Fund for Pension and Disability Insurance of Employees, 2) the National Employment Service, on the Bills amending and modifying the Law on Banks, Law on Bankruptcy and Liquidation of Banks and Insurance Companies, Law on Deposit Insurance, Law on Deposit Insurance Agency and Law on Prevention of Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism, as well as the Bill Granting Guarantee by the Republic of Serbia in favour of Export Development Canada under the debt of RTB Bor - Mining-Smelter Basin Group Bor d.

    At the sitting held on 14 October, the Legislative Committee considered the Proposal of the Declaration of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia on the Condemnation of Crimes Perpetrated Against the Serbian People and Serbian Citizens, submitted by 123 deputies.

    At the sitting held on 13 July, the Legislative Committee considered the Proposal of the National Assembly Rules of Procedureand 10 of the Bills included in the agenda for the Fourth Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2010. The Committee members adopted the proposal to inform the National Assembly that the Proposal of the National Assembly Rules of Procedure, submitted by 122 deputies, adheres to the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

    Ninety-Second Sitting of the Legislative Committee

    At the sitting held on 15 June, the Legislative Committee considered the amendments to two of the Bills on the agenda for the Second Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly in 2010.Having considered the amendments to the Bill on Electronic Communication (73), the Legislative Committee deemed all of them legally feasible except the amendment to article 16 which was found to be contrary to the Constitution and the amendments to articles 21 and 27 which were rejected as incomplete.

    Ninety-First Sitting of the Legislative Committee

    At the sitting held on 7 June, the Legislative Committee considered the eighth Bills included in the agenda for the Second Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2010. With one reserved opinion, the Committee members adopted the proposal to inform the National Assembly that the Bill on Electronic Communication, on the Confirmation of the Agreement on Establishment of the Regional School of Public Administration (RESPA), amending and modifying the Law on Higher Education Law, on Court Experts and amending and modifying the Law on the National Bank of Serbia, adhere to the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.
