National Assembly speaker Slavica Djukic – Dejanovic talks to PACE Rapporteurs
The Speaker of the National Assembly, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic received today the Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly Rapporteurs Charles Gorens and Andreas Gross with whom she spoke of the political situation in Serbia, and particularly the National Assembly’s work.

Seventh Sitting of the Administrative Committee
At its seventh sitting, held on 2 September, the Administrative Committee considered the Republic Electoral Commission report on the election of members of parliament for the purpose of filling the vacant deputy seats at the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia.

Sixth Sitting of the Administrative Committee
At the sitting held on 2 September, the Administrative Committee ascertained that by tendering their resignations deputies’ Zeljko Vasiljevic elected from the SPS-PUPS-US electoral list and Milos Simonovic elected from the electoral list For European Serbia-Boris Tadic, mandates as members of parliament have ended before the end of the term they were elected for and proposed that the National Assembly acknowledge the end of the deputies’ mandates.

National Assembly Deputy Speaker Gordana Comic Talks to Coordinator of Project for Integrative Mediation in South-Eastern Europe
The Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Gordana Comic received today Prof. Dr. Christian Schwarz-Schilling, coordinator of the project for integrative mediation among the countries of South-Eastern Europe (CSSP), which deals with the improvement of interethnic relations in these countries.

Second Sitting of the Agriculture Committee
At the second sitting held on 30 July, the Agriculture Committee discussed the Information of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management on the completed harvest of stubble cereals and the total state of agriculture and the Ministry’s Work Programme for the rest of 2008.The sitting was chaired by the Committee Chairman Zoran Masic, and attended by the Minister of Agriculture Sasa Dragin and associates.
