21st Sitting of the Committee on Education, Science, Technological Development and the Information Society
At the sitting held on 23 February 2026, the members of the Committee on Education, Science, Technological Development and Information Society considered the following:
- Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Ministry on Education, Science, Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia and the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China on Mutual Recognition of Certificates, Diplomas and Higher Education Qualifications, in principle, submitted by the Government;
- Ministry of Education Activity Information for the period October - December 2025;
- Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation Activity Information for the period October - December 2025; and
- Ministry of Tourism and Youth Activity (Youth Sector) Information for the period October - December 2025.
The Committee also considered, in principle, the Bill on the Confirmation of the of the Agreement between the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia and the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China on the Mutual Recognition of Certificates, Diplomas and Degrees of Higher Education, submitted by the Government, which was presented by Vesna Nedeljkovic, State Secretary at the Ministry of Education.
Following a discussion, the Committee members proposed that the National Assembly accept the Bill in principle.
After a discussion, the Committee accepted the Ministry of Education Activity Information for the period October - December 2025, presented by State Secretary Vesna Nedeljkovic.
The Committee members also accepted, after a discussion, the Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation Activity Information for the period October - December 2025, presented by State Secretary Dr Marija Ignjatovic.
The Committee went on to accept the Ministry of Tourism and Youth (Youth Sector) Activity Information for the period October - December 2025, presented by Assistant Minister of Sport Ivana Antonijevic.
The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Prof. Dr Marko Atlagic, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Prof. Dr Djordje Pavicevic, Vesna Djurisic, Goran Spasojevic, Edin Numanovic, Zeljko Rebraca, Dr Lidija Sarac, Zivota Starcevic, Nikola Lazic, Stojan Radenovic, Zdravko Mladenovic and Sladjana Susnjar.
