Ninth Sitting of the Committee on Labour, Ex-Servicemen’s and Social Issues
At the ninth sitting on 8 April, the Committee on Labour, Ex-Servicemen’s and Social Issues decided to discuss the Bill on Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment of Disabled Persons in detail, after the Government of the Republic of Serbia submits to the Committee a Report on the amendments submitted to the Bill.

Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Talks to Western European Union Assembly Western Balkan Rapporteur
The Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr Dragoljub Micunovic talked today at the National Assembly House to the Western Balkans Rapporteur of the Assembly of the Western European Union, Spanish Senator Pedro Agramunt. Rapporteur Agramunt stated that the goal of his visit to Serbia is the drafting of the annual Report on the Western Balkans to be presented to the Assembly of the Western European Union.

Eleventh Sitting of Committee on Health and the Family
At the sitting held on 3 April 2009, the Committee members considered the financing of health services in times of economic crisis and adopted the following CONCLUSIONS 1. The Committee expresses concern for the irresponsible behaviour of the Ministry of Finance which did not want to send a representative to attend the meeting giving as reason that they are busy moving the Ministry.

Bundesrat Delegation Talks to National Assembly Representatives
During its two-day visit to Serbia, 6 and 7 April 2009, a delegation of the Permanent Advisory Council of the Bundesrat met separately at the National Assembly with the head and one member of the Democratic Party of Serbia – Vojislav Kostunica Deputy Group, Milos Aligrudic and Nikola Lazic, Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Prof. Dr Dragoljub Micunovic and European Integrations Committee Chairman Laslo Varga.

National Assembly Delegation Takes Part in Inter-Parliamentary Union Assembly
120th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union commenced today (6 April) in Addis Ababa. Over 180 countries and international organisations are taking part in this important Conference, as well as over 70 delegations including parliamentary speakers or deputy speakers.
