National Assembly Speaker Congratulates Jewish National Holiday

On 8 April 2009, the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic, extended congratulations to the Chief Rabbi of the Jewish Community in Serbia, Isak Asiel and the President of the Federation of Jewish Communities of Serbia, Aleksandar Necak on the Jewish holiday of Passover, expressing the following sentiments.



On 8 April 2009, the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic, extended congratulations to the Chief Rabbi of the Jewish Community in Serbia, Isak Asiel and the President of the Federation of Jewish Communities of Serbia, Aleksandar Necak on the Jewish holiday of Passover, expressing the following sentiments.

“I cordially congratulate you and all the members of the Jewish community in Serbia on the holiday of Passover. May you spend the holiday in peace, wellbeing and familial happiness.

I am convinced that the Jewish community, with its rich culture and tradition, will continue to contribute to the preservation of our society’s spiritual values.”
