Sixth Sitting of the Committee on Interethnic Relations
The Committee on Interethnic Relations held its sixth sitting on 19 May. The sitting was chaired by the Committee Chairman, Miletic Mihajlovic, and attended by Milan Markovic, Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government and President of the Coordination Body for Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja, Petar Antic, Assistant Minister of Human and Minority Rights, Saip Kamberi, Mayor of Bujanovac Municipality, Aleksandar Popovic, President of the Club of Bujanovac Natives in Belgrade and Svetislav Velickovic, Chairman of the Bujanovac Human Rights Committee.

Foreign Affairs and European Integrations Committee Delegations Talk to Czech Senate Delegation
Delegations of the Foreign Affairs and European Integrations Committees headed by the Chairmen of these Committees Prof. Dr Dragoljub Micunovic and Laszlo Varga, had separate meetings today at the National Assembly House with a delegation of the Committee for Foreign Affairs, Defence and Safety of the Senate of the Czech Republic headed by Committee Chairman Jiri Dienstbier.

Twenty-Seventh Sitting of the Finance Committee
At the sitting held on 14 May, the Finance Committee considered in principle the Bill on the Confirmation of the Contract between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Kingdom of Spain on Avoidance of Double Taxation Regarding Income and Property Tax, submitted by the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the State Audit Institution’s Activity Report for the period 1 January – 31 December 2008.A representative of the Ministry of Finance elaborated the Bill on the Confirmation of the Contract between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Kingdom of Spain on Avoidance of Double Taxation Regarding Income and Property Tax, stressing that it had been signed in March this year, and it pertains to the avoidance of double taxation of physical and legal entities in Serbia and Spain and cooperation of tax organs of the two countries.
