    National Assembly Delegation Visits Dutch Parliament

    A delegation comprising members of the Foreign Affairs Committee and the European Integrations Committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, paid a two-day official visit to the Netherlands, at the invitation of the Dutch Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee and European Affairs Committee.

    On 28 October 2009, the Poverty Reduction Committee held its fourteenth sitting with the support of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), at the Bor District Building in the form of a public hearing on the: “Position of the poor and the elderly in Serbia with a focus on the conditions in the District of Bor”.

    Children’s Rights Working Group Members Talk to the Young

    On the occasion of the United Nations Week and the 20th anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, the Children’s Rights Working Group and the UNICEF Office in Serbia organised a meeting at the National Assembly House with children from five Serbian towns, part of the teams of local action plans for children and School Without Violence programme.

    National Assembly Speaker Greets Participants of “Constitutional Jurisdiction in Theory and Practice” Regional Conference

    The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic, addressed the participants of the Regional Conference on “Constitutional Jurisdiction in Theory and Practice”, held in Belgrade on 27 and 28 October 2009. The conference was organised by the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Serbia and Rule of Law Program for South East Europe of the Konrad-Adenauer Foundation, on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Basic Law (Constitution) of FR Germany.
