National Assembly Speaker Talks to Swedish Parliamentary Delegation
Today at the National Assembly House, the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic received a delegation of the Swedish Parliament, headed by its Deputy Speaker Jan Björkman. Deputy Speaker Björkman informed Assembly Speaker Djukic-Dejanovic of Sweden’s interest in Serbia, primarily regarding its European integration process.

Foreign Affairs Committee Delegation Talks to National People’s Congress Representatives in Beijing
A delegation of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, headed by the Committee Chairman Prof. Dr Dragoljub Micunovic, commenced its official visit to the People’s Republic of China by meeting the top representatives of the National People’s Congress, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Culture and the Communist Party of China.

Twentieth Sitting of the Industry Committee
At the sitting held on 5 November, the Industry Committee considered the particulars of the Bill on Pipeline Transportation of Gas and Liquid Hydrocarbons and Distribution of Gas Hydrocarbons, as well as an amendment submitted by deputy Sinisa Stamenkovic to the Bill amending and modifying the Mining Law.

Fourteenth Sitting of the Foreign Affairs Committee
At the sitting held on 4 November, the members of the Foreign Affairs Committee completed an interview with the newly-appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Republic of Austria Milovan Bozinovic and the newly-appointed Ambassador – standing representative of the Republic of Serbia to the United Nations European Office and other international organisations in Geneva Ugljesa Zvekic, before departure for diplomatic duty.

Fifteenth Sitting of the Committee on Science and Technological Development
At the sitting of 4 November, the members of the Committee on Science and Technological Development discussed in principle the Bills on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the People’s Republic of China on scientific and technological cooperation and on the Confirmation of the Cooperation Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Russian Federation on importing irradiated nuclear fuel from the research reactor into the Russian Federation.
