The Chairman of the Action Group for Political System Reform Zoran Babic informed the Action Group members, participants of the second special hearing and the public that the second special hearing will be held on Tuesday, 23 June 2015, instead of Monday, 22 June 2015, as previously announced.

The Action Group for Political System Reform issues a public appeal to the parliamentary groups at the National Assembly, independent MPs, political parties not in the parliament, scientific and expert public, Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, state authorities, organisations and bodies, bodies of AP Vojvodina, national councils of the national minorities, Standing Conference of Towns and Municipalities, European Union and international organisations, civil society organisations and interested individuals, to submit their proposals for the reform of the political system of the Republic of Serbia.

National Assembly Speaker and Chairperson of the Committee on the Rights of the Child Maja Gojkovic on International Day of Innocent Children Victims of Aggression
“The data on children victims of aggression in 2014 is worrying and the Committee on the Rights of the Child would like to point out that violence against children and physical violence cannot be tolerated and have to be subject to strictest penalty. The National Assembly and the Committee on the Rights of the Child are committed to creating the legislative requirements to improve children’s rights by implementing European standards and the tenets of the UN Convention on the rights of the Child. Creating equal opportunities for all children has to be everybody’s priority and the National Assembly and the Committee on the Rights of the Child will continue to muster all resources to build a society which has zero-tolerance for any kind of violence, especially violence against children.”
