Human and Minority Rights and Gender Equality Committee to Visit Bulgarian Parliament’s Religious Denominations and Human Rights Committee

At the initiative of the Committee on Human and Minority Rights and Gender Equality, on 18 June 2015 in Sofia, the parliamentary body will have a meeting with the Bulgarian Parliament's Religious Denominations and Human Rights Committee with the topic: "Role of parliamentary committees in achieving human rights and in the processes of EU integration and harmonisation of human rights regulations with EU standards".


The next day, 19 June 2015, the Committee will hold a sitting outside of the headquarters in Dimitrovgrad with the topic: Role of the national councils of national minorities and the local community in the realisation of national minority rights and the right to information in national minority languages.

The Committee invited representatives of the national minority councils, local self-government bodies, media and NGOs from Dimitrovgrad, Bosilegrad, Nis, Bor, Zajecar, Negotin and Pirot to attend the sitting.
