Fifth Sitting of the European Integrations Committee
At the sitting of the European Integrations Committee held on 13 November, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Serbia in charge of European integration, Bozidar Djelic informed the Committee members on the planned and fulfilled obligations and on the realisation of all the programmes and other activities necessary to speed up Serbia’s process of accession to the European Union.

First Sitting of the Poverty Reduction Committee
The first sitting of the Poverty Reduction Committee was convened under the Rules of Procedure by the Speaker of the National Assembly, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic. Until the election of Committee Chairperson, the sitting was chaired by the oldest Committee member, deputy Jovan Damjanovic from the Serbian Radical Party Deputy Group.

Third Sitting of the Foreign Affairs Committee
At the third sitting, held on 6 November, the Foreign Affairs Committee conducted an interview with the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Great Britain, Prof. Dr Dejan Popovic, before his departure for diplomatic duty. The sitting was chaired by Prof. Dr Dragoljub Micunovic. Presenting the programme of his future activities, Ambassador Popovic pointed out the necessity to essentially further bilateral relations with Great Britain, a permanent member of the UN Security Council with special ties to the USA and one of the most influential members of the European Union.
