Eleventh Sitting of the Committee on Kosovo and Metohija

At the eleventh sitting, commenced on 3 April and continued on 7 and 10 April, the Committee on Kosovo and Metohija began discussing the Ministry for Kosovo-Metohija 2008 Activity Report and the Ministry’s Work Plan until 31 December 2009. In the discussion on the Ministry’s Activity Report, the Committee members noticed various discrepancies in the expenditure of budgetary funds and unanimously decided that the Ministry for Kosovo-Metohija should submit a new two-partite report to the Committee within a month.

Sixth Sitting of the Committee on Kosovo and Metohia

At the sitting held on 24 December, the Committee on Kosovo and Metohia conducted a discussion in principle on the Bill on the Budget of the Republic of Serbia for 2009, with its accompanying proposals of decisions granting consent to financial plans for 2009 of the Republic Fund for Pension and Disability Insurance of Employees, the Republic Health Insurance Agency and the National Employment Service, submitted by the Government.

Fifth Sitting of the Committee on Kosovo and Metohia

Under article 77 paragraph 2 of the National Assembly Rules of Procedure, the National Assembly Speaker, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic convened the fifth sitting of the Committee on Kosovo and Metohia with one item on the agenda: Election of Committee Chairman and Deputy Chairman. At the sitting, the Committee members elected only the Committee Deputy Chairman, since the Serbian Radical Party Deputy Club did not have a nominee for Committee Chairman.
