First Sitting of the Education Committee
The Education Committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia held its first sitting on 1 July 2008, convened by the Speaker of the National Assembly Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic under act 26 of the National Assembly’s Rules of Procedure. The sitting was chaired by the oldest Committee member, Nandor Maraci.

First Sitting of the Committee on Relations with Serbs Living Outside Serbia
The Committee on Relations with Serbs Living Outside Serbia of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia held its first sitting on 1 July 2008, convened by the Speaker of the National Assembly Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic and chaired by Dragoslav Bozovic, the oldest Committee member. The Committee members elected as Chairman Branimir Djokic from the Serbian Radical Part Deputy Group who was also Committee Chairman in the previous convocation.

Third Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2008
The Third Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2008, convened by the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic at the request of 122 deputies, began on Monday, 30 June 2008, at 12. 10 p. m. The deputies who submitted the Request to hold the session set the following agenda to be considered at the sitting: 1. The Bill amending and modifying the Law on the Government, submitted by 122 deputies and2. The Bill on the Ministries, submitted by 122 deputies.

At the request of 122 deputies, the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic, convened the Third Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly in 2008 for Monday, 30. June 2008. The deputies who submitted the Request to hold the session decided to discuss the Bill amending and modifying the Law on the Government and the Bill on the Ministries at the session.
