    Eighty-Sixth Sitting of the Legislative Committee

    At the sitting held on 14 April, the Legislative Committee discussed in principle 57 Bills included in the agenda for the Second Sitting of the First Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2010. The Committee members unanimously adopted the proposal that the Committee should inform the National Assembly that the Bill on Central Registry for Mandatory Social Security, as well as the 56 Bills confirming agreements, contracts, memorandums, conventions and protocols, adhere to the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

    Twenty-Second Sitting of the Committee on Defense and Security

    At the sitting held on 13 April, the members of the Committee on Defense and Security conducted a joint discussion on 11 Bills confirming international defense and security treaties that have been included in the agenda for the Second Sitting of the First Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2010.State Secretary at the Ministry of Defense Dusan Spasojevic elaborated the Bills on the Confirmation of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Iraq on cooperation and military training for Iraqi armed forces, of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Kingdom of Spain on cooperation in the field of defense, of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Kingdom of Norway on cooperation in the field of defense, of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Bulgaria on exchange and mutual protection of confidential information in the field of defense, of the Defense Cooperation Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Macedonia, of the Defense Cooperation Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Slovenia, of the Defense Cooperation Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Portugal, of the Military Cooperation Agreement between the Council of Ministers of Serbia and Montenegro and the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany and of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland on cooperation in the field of defense.

    Eighty-Fifth Sitting of the Legislative Committee

    At the sitting held on 13 April, the Legislative Committee discussed, in principle, 11 Bills and a Decision Proposal included in the agenda for the Second Sitting of the First Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2010. The Committee unanimously adopted the proposal that the Committee inform the National Assembly that the Bills amending and modifying the Law on General Constitutional Procedures, the Law on Official Use of Languages and Scripts, the Act on Publication of Laws and other Enactments and on Publication of the Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia and the Law on Postal Services, as well as the Proposal of the Decision on Proclaiming the Old and Rare Book of Extreme Importance, adhere to the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.
