European Integration Committee Delegation Visits Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina: Serbia to Assist Bosnia and Herzegovina on European Path
A delegation of the National Assembly European Integration Committee visited the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, to advance bilateral cooperation between the parliaments and exchange views and experiences of the two states’ European integration.

Chapter 35 Cannot Be Reason Not to Open Other EU Negotiation Chapters
The Republic of Slovenia and Drzavni Zbor (Slovenian Parliament) clearly and openly support Serbia’s European integration, and Chapter 35 cannot be the reason not to open other EU negotiation chapters, is the message of today’s meeting of the members of the European Integration Committee and the delegation of the Slovenian Parliament’s Committee on Foreign Policy, currently in a two-day visit Serbia.

National Assembly Delegation Visits Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada
In the course of the one-day visit to the Committee on European Integration of the Ukrainian Parliament (Verkhovna Rada), the members of the National Assembly’s European Integration Committee Zarko Micin and Dr Muamer Bacevac met with the Deputy Chairperson of the Committee on European Integration Maria Ionova, members of the Committee on European Integration, Deputy Director of the European Union Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and also visited the Institute of Philology of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and talked to the lecturers and students of Serbian language.

At the sitting held on 19 October the members of the European Integration Committee considered the Report on the Republic of Serbia’s EU accession talks during the Presidency of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, January-July 2016, submitted by the Government, and the Report on the Republic of Serbia’s EU accession talks for the period July-September 2016.

Sixth Sitting of the European Integration Committee
At the sitting held on 11 October 2016 and closed to the public, the European Integration Committee considered and gave a positive opinion to the Republic of Serbia negotiation position proposals for Chapter 25 – Science and Research and Chapter 26 – Education and Culture. The Committee also selected a delegation for the COSAC meeting and for the regional workshop on “Enhancing the role of parliamentarians in building effective counter-terrorist systems within a rule of law framework”.

The members of the European Integration Committee met today at the National Assembly House with the members of Working Group 18 of the National Convention on the European Union, the Head of the Negotiating Team for Serbia’s Accession to the European Union, representatives of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development, Ministry of Youth and Sport and the Ministry of Culture and the Media, to consult before the consideration of the negotiating positions for Chapter 25 – Science and Research and Chapter 26 – Education and Culture.
