Seventh Session of the First Regular Sitting of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2003

The following agenda was adopted for the First Session of the First Regular Sitting of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2003, convened by the President of the National Assembly, Natasa Micic, for Tuesday 13 May, beginning at 10 a.


The following agenda was adopted for the First Session of the First Regular Sitting of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2003, convened by the President of the National Assembly, Natasa Micic, for Tuesday 13 May, beginning at 10 a.m.:

1. Financial Leasing Bill, submitted by the Government of the Republic of Serbia,
2. Concessions Bill, submitted by the Government of the Republic of Serbia,
3. Guarantee Fund Bill, submitted by the Government of the Republic of Serbia,
4. Bill Repealing the Act on the Yugoslav Chamber of Commerce and Industry, submitted by the Government of the Republic of Serbia,
5. Election of one member of the Council of the Republic Broadcasting Agency.

At the beginning of the joint debate in principle on the Financial Leasing and Concessions Bills, the Deputies were addressed by the representative of the submitter, Minister of Foreign Economic Relations in the Government of the Republic of Serbia, Goran Pitic. The Assembly then went on to discuss the Bills in principle, beginning in the afternoon part of the session to discuss the particulars of the Financial Leasing Bill.

On the second day of the session (14 May), the National Assembly discussed amendments submitted to the Financial Leasing Bill.

On the third day of the session (15 May), the National Assembly concluded debate on the particulars of the Financial Leasing Bill and the Concessions Bill.

In the afternoon part of the session, the debate in principle on the Guarantee Fund Bill began with the address to the Deputies by the Minister of Economy and Privatisation in the Government of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vlahovic, as the representative of the submitter.

On the fourth day of work (20 May), the National Assembly finished debate in principle and on the particulars of the Guarantee Fund Bill. The Deputies then went on to conclude debate in principle on the Bill Repealing the Act on the Yugoslav Chamber of Commerce and Industry, commencing debate on the amendments submitted to the Bill.

On the fifth day of work (21 May), the Assembly concluded debating amendments submitted to the Bill Repealing the Act on the Yugoslav Chamber of Commerce and Industry, concluding also debate in principle on the Proposal for the Election of a Member of the Council of the Republic Broadcasting Agency.

On Voting Day, 27 May, the National Assembly adopted as wholes the Financial Leasing Bill, the Concessions Bill, the Guarantee Fund Bill and the Bill Repealing the Act on the Yugoslav Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and elected Goran Radenovic member of the Council of the Republic Broadcasting Agency. President Natasa Micic went on to conclude the Seventh Session of the First Regular Sitting of the National Assembly in 2003.
