First session of the Second Regular Sitting of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2003

The following agenda was set for the First session of the Second Regular Sitting of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2003, convened by the Chairperson of the National Asembly, Natasa Micic, for 10 a.


The following agenda was set for the First session of the Second Regular Sitting of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2003, convened by the Chairperson of the National Asembly, Natasa Micic, for 10 a.m. on 14 October:

1. Motion for the Dismissal of the Chairperson of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Natasa Micic, submitted by a group of 54 Deputies;
2. Motion for a Vote of No Confidence in the Government of the Republic of Serbia, submitted by 23 Deputies from the Serbian Radical Party Deputies’ Group;
3. Motion for a Vote of No Confidence in the Government of the Republic of Serbia, submitted by 43 Deputies from the Democratic Party of Serbia Deputies’ Group;
4. Bill on Bankruptcy Proceedings, submitted by the Government of the Republic of Serbia;
5. Bill on the Agency for the Licencing of Receivers in Bankruptcy, submitted by the Government of the Republic of Serbia;
6. Bill on the Local Self-government Infrastructure Development Agency, submitted by the Government of the Republic of Serbia;
7. Bill on the Registration of Enterprises, submitted by the Government of the Republic of Serbia;
8. Bill on the Commercial Registries Agency, submitted by the Government of the Republic of Serbia;
9. Bill Amending and Modifying the Act on Property Taxes, submitted by the Government of the Republic of Serbia;
10. Bill on Keeping Records on Transactions Using Cash Registers Equipped with Fiscal Memory, submitted by the Government of the Republic of Serbia;
11. Bill Repealing the Act on the Earnings Fund Tax, submitted by the Government of the Republic of Serbia;
12. Bill Amending and Modifying the Act on Government Revenue and Expenditure, submitted by the Government of the Republic of Serbia;
13. Bill Amending and Modifying the Act on the Securities’ and Other Financial Instruments’ Market, submitted by the Government of the Republic of Serbia;
14. Bill Amending and Modifying the Public Purchases Act, submitted by the Government of the Republic of Serbia;
15. Bill on the Prevention of Conflicts of Interests for Public Officials, submitted by Deputy Dejan Mihajlov;
16. Bill Amending and Modifying the Act on the Election of Deputies, submitted by Deputies Meho Omerovic, Aleksandar Vatovic and Rodoljub Sabic.

At the beginning of the first day of the sitting (16 October), the National Assembly noted that Rodoljub Sabic had resigned as Minister of State Administration and Local Self-government in the Government of the Republic of Serbia. The Deputies were informed of the creation of the DOS - Civic Alliance of Serbia Deputies’ Group, which is headed by Deputy Professor Dr Mirko Rosic as chairman and Deputy Professor Dr Dragor Hiber as vice-chairman.

The afternoon part of the session saw the start of the discussion on the Motion for the Dismissal of the Chairperson of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Natasa Micic.

On the second and third days of the session (22 and 23 October), the National Assembly continued to discuss the Motion for the Dismissal of the Chairperson of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Natasa Micic.

On the fourth day of the session (28 October), the National Assembly discussed the Motion for the Dismissal of the Chairperson of the National Assembly, concluding the debate on the fifth day (29 October).

On the sixth day of work (30 October), the National Assembly commenced to discuss the Motion for a Vote of No Confidence in the Government of the Republic of Serbia, submitted by a group of 23 Deputies from the Serbian Radical Party Deputies’ Group.

On the 7th day of work ( 31 October) the National Assembly started a debate on the Motion of the Serbian Radical Party Deputies' Group for the Vote of No Confidence to the Government of the Republic of Serbia. The debate continued on the 8th day of work (3 November).

On the ninth and tenth day of the session (4 and 5 November), the Deputies continued debate on the Motion for a Vote of No Confidence in the Government of the Republic of Serbia, submitted by 23 Deputies of the Serbian Radical Party.

The debate on the same item on the agenda continued on the eleventh day of work (6 November). The Chairman of the National Assembly announced a recess until 18 November, due to presidential elections scheduled for 16 November, 2003.
The Assembly continues work.
