    43rd session of the Justice and Administration Committee

    At its forty-third session, held on 18 October, the Justice and Administration Committee discussed and in principle endorsed the Bill on the Liability of Manufacturers for Faulty Merchandise, the Misdemeanours Bill, the Bill Amending the Act on Fines for Business Criminal Offences and Misdemeanours, the Bill Amending and Modifying the Judges Act, and the Bill Amending and Modifying the Act on the Ordering of Courts.

    18th session of the Poverty Reduction Committee

    The National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia today marked 17 October, World Poverty Day. The Poverty Reduction Committee, the World Bank and the United Nations Development Programme took part in organising the Committee’s eighteenth session, which was devoted to the millennium aims in the fight against poverty.

    49th session of the Privatisation Committee

    At its session held on 14 October 2005, the Privatisation Committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia discussed and endorsed the Report of the Ministry of the Economy on the Activities of the Privatisation Agency for September 2005, along with its associated Programme of Activities of the Privatisation Agency for October 2005.The deputies also discussed and endorsed the Report of the Ministry of the Economy on the Activities of the Share Fund of the Republic of Serbia for September 2005, and the Report on the Activities of the Central Securities Registry, Depot and Clearing for August 2005.The session was chaired by the chairman of the Privatisation Committee, Nikola Novakovic, and attended by officials of the Ministry of the Economy, the Privatisation Agency, the Share Fund and the Central Registry.
