Eighth Sitting of the Committee on Justice and Administration
At the sitting held on 14 October 2008, the Committee on Justice and Administration considered in detail the Bill on the protection of personal data, the Bill on the seizure of assets derived from a criminal offense, the Bill on the responsibility of legal persons for criminal offenses, the Bill on the Anti-Corruption Agency and the Bill amending and modifying the Law on financing of political parties.
At the sitting held on 14 October 2008, the Committee on Justice and Administration considered in detail the Bill on the protection of personal data, the Bill on the seizure of assets derived from a criminal offense, the Bill on the responsibility of legal persons for criminal offenses, the Bill on the Anti-Corruption Agency and the Bill amending and modifying the Law on financing of political parties.
Out of the 31 amendments submitted to the Bill on the protection of personal data by the Ombudsman and the deputies, the Committee decided to propose that the National Assembly accept 12, and reject 19. The Committee submitted three of its own amendments to the Bill which were accepted by the representative of the submitters at the Committee sitting.
Out of the 25 amendments to the Bill on the seizure of assets derived from a criminal offense submitted by the deputies, the Committee decided to propose that the National Assembly accept only one amendment.
11 amendments were submitted to the Bill on the responsibility of legal persons for criminal offenses, and the Committee decided to propose that the National Assembly reject all the submitted amendments.
Out of the 35 amendments submitted to the Bill on the Anti-Corruption Agency, the Committee decided to propose that the National Assembly accept 11 amendments.
The Committee accepted all 7 amendments submitted by the deputies to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on financing of political parties.
