Twenty-Second Sitting of the Committee on Science and Technological Development

At the sitting held on 15 March, the members of the Committee on Science and Technological Development considered the particulars of the Bill on Geographical Indications.



At the sitting held on 15 March, the members of the Committee on Science and Technological Development considered the particulars of the Bill on Geographical Indications.

The sitting was chaired by Srboljub Zivanovic, Committee Chairman, and attended by a representative of the Intellectual Property Office.

The deputies had submitted a total of 39 amendments to the Bill on Geographical Indications. The Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Committee on Science and Technological Development accepted 23 of the amendments, and the Committee submitted an amendment of its own to article 61 of the Bill, under article 142, paragraph 5 of the National Assembly Rules of Procedure.
