At the twenty-first sitting held on 29 March, the members of the Committee on Defense and Security considered the initiative of a group of deputies to initiate proceedings to depose the Committee Chairman and, following a discussion, deposed Dragan Todorovic as Committee Chairman, by a majority of votes.
The agenda also contained the analysis of the state authorities’ activities in the fight against organised crime. On the occasion, Minister of Interior Ivica Dacic, Chief of Police Milorad Veljovic, Security Information Agency Director Sasa Vukadinovic and State Secretary at the Ministry of Justice Gordana Pualic took part in the Committee sitting, and Minister of Justice Snezana Malovic also attended the beginning of the sitting.
