Thirty-Fourth Sitting of the Committee on Defense and Security
At the sitting held on 30 November, the Committee on Defense and Security considered the Proposal of the Decision on the Abolishment of Mandatory Military Service and Bill amending and modifying the Law on Military, Labour and Material Duty, in principle.
At the sitting held on 30 November, the Committee on Defense and Security considered the Proposal of the Decision on the Abolishment of Mandatory Military Service and Bill amending and modifying the Law on Military, Labour and Material Duty, in principle.
The Committee also considered three Bills on the confirmation of international agreements and other documents, viz. of the Protocol on Prohibitions or Restrictions on the Use of Mines, Booby-Traps and Other Devices as amended on 3 May 1996 (Protocol II as amended on 3 May 1996) annexed to the Convention on Prohibitions or Restrictions on the Use of Certain Conventional Weapons which may be deemed to be Excessively Injurious of to have Indiscriminate Effects, of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of Montenegro on the exchange of resources and documentation and of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of Montenegro on cooperation in the protection against natural and other disasters.
The Committee accepted the Bills by a majority of votes.
The sitting was chaired by the Committee Deputy Chairman, Dusan Bajatovic.
