Third Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2016
At the request of the Serbian Government, the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Maja Gojkovic convened the Third Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2016, for Friday, 5 February, starting at noon.
1. Proposal for the dismissal of the Minister of Defence, submitted by the Prime Minister.
The rationale for the Proposal for the dismissal of the Minister of Defence was delivered by the Prime Minister of the Serbian Government Aleksandar Vucic.
Voting Day
On Voting Day, by 195 votes in favour, the National Assembly adopted the Proposal for the dismissal of Minister of Defence Bratislav Gasic.
On Voting Day, the National Assembly also ruled on the violation of the Rules of Procedure MP Zoran Zivkovic complained of and decided that the Rules of Procedure had not been violated.
As the National Assembly had completed the debate on the only item on the agenda and ruled on it, National Assembly Speaker Maja Gojkovic concluded the Third Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2016.
