Sixth Sitting of the Culture and Information Committee

At the sitting held on 30 December 2024, the members of the Culture and Information Committee considered the supplement to the proposal of candidates for the election of members of the Council of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media.

Committee Chairperson Nevena Djuric reminded the Committee members that at the fifth sitting they had adopted a report on the received proposal of candidates for the Council of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media and noted that some authorised nominators require an extension to supplement or edit their proposal.

Following a debate, the Committee adopted the report on the consideration of the received candidate proposals and elimination of the deficiencies observed on the proposal of candidates for the Council of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media.

The Committee will set a date for the meeting where the proposers who had submitted more than two candidates will formulate a joint proposal of two candidates for the Council of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media, as stipulated by law.

Following this, within no less than 15 days, a Committee sitting will be convened where the 18 candidates by the nine authorised proposers will be interviewed, said Committee Chairperson Nevena Djuric.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairperson Nevena Djuric and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Prof. Dr Mirka Lukic Sarkanovic, Prof. Dr Marko Atlagic, Dr Emese Uri, Doc. Dr Rastislav Dinic, Dr Jovan Janjic, Natasa Milas Milic, Dalibor Scekic, Nebojsa Bakarec, Branimir Jovanovic, Vladimir Djordjevic, Natasa Jovanovic, Dusan Maric, Dr Zoran Lutovac and Lepomir Ivkovic.
