Seventy-First Sitting of the Finance Committee

At a sitting held on 5 April, the Finance Committee considered seven of the Bills included in the agenda for the Third Sitting of the First Regular Session of the National Assembly in 2011: the Bills on the Capital Market, amending and modifying the Investment Fund Law, amending and modifying the Financial Leasing Law, amending and modifying the Law on Default Interest Rate, amending and modifying the Law on Voluntary Pension Funds and Pension Plans, on the Confirmation of the Agreement on EPS Electronic Counters guarantee between the Republic of Serbia and the European Investment Bank and on the Confirmation of the Corridor 10 Motorway (E-80) Phase I Financial Agreement between the Republic of Serbia the European Investment Bank, in principle.



At a sitting held on 5 April, the Finance Committee considered seven of the Bills included in the agenda for the Third Sitting of the First Regular Session of the National Assembly in 2011: the Bills on the Capital Market, amending and modifying the Investment Fund Law, amending and modifying the Financial Leasing Law, amending and modifying the Law on Default Interest Rate, amending and modifying the Law on Voluntary Pension Funds and Pension Plans, on the Confirmation of the Agreement on EPS Electronic Counters guarantee between the Republic of Serbia and the European Investment Bank and on the Confirmation of the Corridor 10 Motorway (E-80) Phase I Financial Agreement between the Republic of Serbia the European Investment Bank, in principle.

The Committee unanimously accepted the Bills, in principle.

At the sitting, the Committee considered the candidacy and established the Proposal of the Decision for the election of member of the Council of the Governor of the National Bank of Serbia. According to the decision, at the proposal of the United Regions of Serbia Parliamentary Group, the Committee nominated Kosta Josifidis, full-time professor at the University of Novi Sad, for member of the Governor’s Council.

The sitting was chaired by Zoran Krasic, Committee Chairman.
