Security Services Control Committee in Supervisory Visit to Security Information Agency Centre in Nis
In line with the 2015 Activity Plan, the members of the Security Services Control Committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia conducted a supervisory visit to the Security Information Agency Centre in Nis, on 2 and 3 July 2015.
The Committee delegation was headed by Committee Chairman Momir Stojanovic and comprised Committee member Dragan Sutanovac and Committee substitute members Jelena Mijatovic and Sinisa Maksimovic.
As stipulated by the law, the Committee inspected the legality of the operation of the Security Information Agency Centre, was briefed on the problems it encounters in its day-to-day work and ascertained that the members of the Security Information Agency Centre in Nis act professionally, in line with the legally prescribed procedures and that there are no irregularities.
They also ascertained that the Security Information Agency Directorate should analyse the organisational structure of the Security Information Agency Centre and adjust it to the real security challenges and threats.
