Second Sitting of the Foreign Affairs Committee

At the sitting held on 26 April, the Foreign Affairs Committee adopted several initiatives for visits in the upcoming period, noted the regular activities of the National Assembly’s standing delegations and adopted the reports on visits and contacts realised in the previous period.

The Committee members conducted an interview with the newly-appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the South African Republic, Bozin Nikolic, before deployment to diplomatic duty.
Ambassador Nikolic said that there is room to further intensify the already good political relations between Serbia and the South African Republic. He pointed out the importance of promoting interparliamentary and economic cooperation, as well as cooperation in the spheres of defence, science, education and culture.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairperson Irena Vujovic.
