The Committee members went on to consider the Report on the natural disaster – flood suffered by the Republic of Serbia and measures employed to save the population and defend the threatened areas from the flood. The part of the Report relating to activities implemented by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was presented by Ministry of Foreign Affairs Secretary General Veljko Odalovic. Afterwards, the Committee members submitted a Report accompanied by a Conclusion Proposal on the reviewed Report on the natural disaster – flood suffered by the Republic of Serbia and measures employed to save the population and defend the threatened areas from the flood to the National Assembly, proposing that it be discussed by urgent procedure.

The Committee members then proceeded to conduct interviews with the newly-appointed ambassadors of the Republic of Serbia to the Kingdom of Morocco Sladjana Prica, and to the Federal Republic of Nigeria Jovan Maric, before their deployment to diplomatic duty.

At the sitting, the Committee elected MP Dragan Sormaz Head of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with Finland and MP Nenad Nikolic Head of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with Ireland and noted the amendments to the parliamentary friendship groups with Algeria, Albania, Austria, Arab States of the Gulf, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Belarus, Egypt, Estonia, Ireland, South African Republic, Cuba, Macedonia, Sovereign Military Order of Malta, Morocco, Germany, Norway, Palestine, Russia, France, Tunisia, the Netherlands, Switzerland and Spain.
