Ninth Sitting of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues
At the sitting held on 4 June, the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues reviewed the information of the Boris Tadic – New Democratic Party, Together for Serbia, Greens of Serbia Parliamentary Group on the reason for the termination of the term of office of MP Miodrag Rakic and decided to propose that the National Assembly note the termination of the abovementioned MP’s term of office.
The Committee members reviewed the request of the State Audit Institution for consent to recruit new personnel to fill in the vacant i.e. vacated posts at the State Audit Institution and, by a majority vote, granted consent for the recruitment of 75 new employees for executive posts.
The Chairman informed the Committee members that the Republic Broadcasting Agency retracted the request to sign a temporary service contract which it had previously sent to the Committee.
The Committee considered and granted consent to the request of the Republic Commission for the Protection of Rights in Public Procurement Procedures to recruit new personnel.
Relating to the Ombudsman’s request to employ new personnel and prolong the existing temporary employment due to increased workload, the Committee granted consent to the full-time employment of five persons and prolonging of the temporary employment of 20 persons.
The Committee went on to review and give positive opinions to MPs Prof. Dr Vladimir Marinkovic and Milan Krkobabic and Republic Electoral Commission substitute member Milos Sreckovic concerning their request to assume another public office.
The Committee also gave a positive opinion to Minister of Health Dr Zlatibor Loncar and MP Vesna Martinovic concerning their request to take on additional employment.
The sitting was chaired by Zoran Babic, Committee Chairman.
