National Assembly Standing Delegation at 17th Plenary Session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean

Head of the standing delegation of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (PAM), Haji Milorad Stosic and delegation members Veroljub Arsic, Tijana Davidovac, Marija Jevdjic and Ivana Nikolic, took part in the PAM 17th plenary session, held on 1 and 2 March in Rabat, Kingdom of Morocco. In the course of the session, the PAM elected a new president and new members of the Bureau.

On 3 March, the members of the standing delegation of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean who are also members of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with Morocco, met with the co-chairman of the Moroccan-European Union Joint Parliamentary Committee Lahcen Haddad in the Senate of the Kingdom of Morocco. At the beginning of the meeting, the head of the delegation Haji Milorad Stosic greeted the attending and briefed them on the activities of the Serbian delegation at the PAM session.

At the meeting, it was assessed that the relations between the two countries are good and traditionally friendly, but that in the economic sense there are potentials for improving cooperation and increasing trade. Member of the PFG with Morocco Veroljub Arsic thanked Morocco for respecting the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Republic of Serbia and informed the officials about to the problems faced by the Serbian people in Kosovo-Metohija.
