Dr Orlic expressed satisfaction that the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia had contributed to the cooperation and preparation of the project, whose Subcommittee on Sports closely cooperated with the competent ministries.

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia stressed that the project is one more proof of Serbia’s dedication to its youth. “The state policy pursued by the President of the Republic Aleksandar Vucic and followed both in the National Assembly and at the Government level, is directed towards our children, young people and everything we do today, we do for them and their better future. Every new highway, new technology park, scientific institute, modern clinical centre - we create and build them all with a clear goal and vision: that they remain, that they serve them tomorrow and that they continue to build their Serbia on those foundations. The same applies to sports - new gymnasiums, new sports fields, stadiums, swimming pools, investments in schools and the large amount of money we allocate for the purchase of equipment: all of this is dedicated to those who will take care of our common house tomorrow, our beautiful Serbia”, said Dr Orlic, once again praising the signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the three ministries and the project which, he stressed, is yet another step toward establishing our nation as a traditionally sporty one which keeps raising future champions.

The Memorandum of Cooperation defining the tasks and obligations for launching a pilot project for the 2023/2024 school year, with the aim of raising the level of physical education in primary and secondary schools and monitoring the physical fitness of school children, was signed by the Minister of Health Prof. Dr Danica Grujicic, Minister of Sport Zoran Gajic and State Secretary in the Ministry of Education Prof. Dr Marijana Dukic Mijatovic.
