National Assembly Speaker Convenes Sixth Sitting of the Second Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2016

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Maja Gojkovic convened the Sixth Sitting of the Second Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2016, for Monday, 12 December, starting at 10 am.


The agenda is to contain the Proposal of Candidates for judges of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Serbia, submitted by the President of the Republic, as well as the Proposal for the establishment of Candidate List for judges of the Constitutional Court appointed by the President of the Republic, submitted by National Assembly Speaker Maja Gojkovic.

The MPs will also deliberate on the Proposal of the Decision on the election of High Judicial Council member from the ranks of appellate court judges and the Proposal of the Decision on the election of judges to judicial office for the first time, submitted by the High Judicial Council.

The agenda will also contain the Proposal of the Decision on the termination of office of President of the Commercial Court in Belgrade, Proposal of the Decision on the termination of office of President of the Basic Court in Krusevac, Proposal of the Decision on the termination of office of President of the Misdemeanour Court in Loznica, all submitted by the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government, the Proposal of the Decision amending the Decision on the Establishment of the Composition of the Stabilisation and Association Parliamentary Committee and the Proposal of the Decision amending the Decision on the Establishment of the Composition of the Standing Delegations of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia to International Parliamentary Institutions, both submitted by National Assembly Speaker Maja Gojkovic, the Proposal of the Decision amending the Decision on the Election of Members and Deputy Members of the Committees of the the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, submitted by the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) Parliamentary Group, an the Proposal of the Decision amending the Decision on the Election of Members and Deputy Members of the Committees of the the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, submitted by the Serbian Progressive Party Parliamentary Group.

In addition, the MPs will consider the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Agriculture and Rural Development, Bill amending and modifying the Law on Stimulation of Agriculture and Rural Development, Bill amending and modifying the Water Law, Bill on Management of Airports, Bill on Housing and Building Maintenance, Bill on Transport of Dangerous Goods, Bill amending and modifying the Law on Public Utilities, and the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Public-Private Partnership and Concessions, submitted by the Government.

Finally, the agenda is also to contain the Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the United Nations on the Trans-European Railway Project Central Office, Bill on the Confirmation of the Multilateral Agreement on Commercial Rights of Non-Scheduled Air Services in Europe, and the Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the People’s Republic of China on Mutual Abolition of Visas for Holders of Ordinary Passports, submitted by the Government.

The sitting will be held at the Grand Hall of the House of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia.
