The meeting was attended by Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Committee Chairman Marijan Risticevic. The participants concluded that the Bill is good on the whole and made some progress on the disputed issues concerning it. The officials stressed that all the objections will be reviewed most seriously, and the dialogue will continue until a final, acceptable piece legislation is produced.

The Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Veroljub Arsic thanked the guests for their proposals and comments stressing that the National Assembly, Government and agricultural producers share a common goal – to pass a law that will improve agricultural production in Serbia and with it the financial standing of the agricultural producers.
