National Assembly Delegation Member Sabina Dazdarevic Takes Part in Francophonie Parliamentary Assembly 41st Regular Session

Sabina Dazdarevic, member of the National Assembly’s standing delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of Francophonie (APF), took part in the 41st regular session of the Parliamentary Assembly of Francophonie, in Bern, Switzerland, 8-11 July 2015.


The main topic of the plenary session was encouraging and enabling access to quality education. As pointed out in the course of the plenary session, encouraging and enabling access to quality education are priority challenges for Francophonie. They also stressed the importance Francophonie enjoys in all spheres of life in the world today, especially in connecting people and cultivating lingual differences. They also stressed the importance of parliamentarians in the achievement of Francophonie’s goals both at the global level and in national parliaments.

At the margins, MP Sabina Dazdarevic met with the Head of the French delegation to the APF Jean-Pierre Dufau who informed her of the meeting of the heads of the national delegations for the European region, planned for May 2016, in Capbreton, France, saying he expected the delegation of the Republic of Serbia would take part.
