National Assembly Assumes Presidency over CEI Parliamentary Dimension

At the annual meeting of the Parliamentary Dimension of the Central European Initiative (comprising 18 countries of the region), held in Budva on 26 and 27 November, the delegation of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia took over the presidency over the organisation from the Montenegrin delegation.



At the annual meeting of the Parliamentary Dimension of the Central European Initiative (comprising 18 countries of the region), held in Budva on 26 and 27 November, the delegation of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia took over the presidency over the organisation from the Montenegrin delegation. Deputy Ivan Jovanovic, head of the National Assembly’s standing delegation to CEI PD, will be the CEI PD Chair in 2011.

At the session in Budva, the CEI PD considered the topics of cross-border cooperation in the region and cooperation between CEI PD parliaments and the civil society.

The National Assembly’s delegation also comprised deputies Djuro Peric and Dr Paja Momcilov.
