MP Dubravka Filipovski at Western Balkan Legislative Strengthening Initiative Regional Workshop in Slovakia
Western Balkan Legislative Strengthening Initiative Regional Workshop that was held in Slovakia on 25 and 26 February brought together members of parliaments, parliamentary staff and civic society representatives from Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Georgia, Kosovo*, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and Ukraine to draw on experiences from the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Latvia in legislative transparency and civic engagement.
Serbian delegation was consisted of Ms Dubravka Filipovski, Member of Parliament, Ms Marina Vasic, parliamentary staff member and Jovana Djurbabic Civil Society representative from CRTA.
Dubravka Filipovski presented case positive examples of cooperation between the parliament from Serbia and civic society in the areas of policy development, legal drafting and oversight of the government and present how new technologies provide for new opportunities for cooperation with civic groups.
