Deputy Jorgovanka Tabakovic took part in the Thirty-Sixth Meeting of the Economic, Commercial, Technological and Environmental Issues Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC), held in Moscow on 16 and 17 March 2011.

Taking part in the Committee meeting, Jorgovanka Tabakovic submitted a Report on the “Use of genetically modified organisms (GMO) in BSEC countries: economic and environmental aspects”.

Based on the Report, as well as the intervention and amendment to the Recommendation presented and defended at the gathering by the delegation of the National Assembly of Republic of Serbia, the Republic of Serbia’s approach to the issue was accepted as the regional model.
